Case 39

""Case 39" is a suspense that flirts with horror, bringing a frightening and engaging atmosphere. It's hard not to be scared by the movie. The protagonists Renée Zellweger and Jodelle Ferland (who was only 15 at the time!) deliver excellent performances, especially Ferland. In addition to the good cast, which also has Bradley Cooper, director Christian Alvart knew how to explore the construction that the unknown can be more frightening than what we already know. This same format was explored by Roman Polanski in the classic "Rosemary's Baby". The script is well developed, but the end is predictable because "Case 39" resembles other films of the genre, such as "The Orphan" and even "The Prophecy", but this is not a problem and does not interfere with the immersion in the story."
