The story follows a woman (Mexican actress Eiza González) who wakes up on a hostile planet, with her companions brutally murdered and fragmented memories of what happened. Along with the man who comes to help her (Aaron Paul from Breaking Bad), she must uncover what occurred, but their investigation triggers a violent chain of events. It’s an enjoyable film, fascinating for its psychedelic and extravagant visuals, although narrative originality isn’t its strong suit. Ideal if you’re looking for horror and science fiction in a visually striking package."
